MLK Day of Service

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. dedicated his life to service, unity, and uplifting others. CarteretCC SGA invites you to honor his legacy by volunteering at Crystal Bluffs, where we’ll spend time with local seniors through painting, playing card and board games, and sharing meaningful conversations.

This day of service is about more than volunteering—it’s about creating connections, spreading kindness, and making a lasting impact in our community. Many seniors experience loneliness, and a simple conversation or shared activity can brighten their day in ways we might not even realize. By taking part, you’re helping to carry forward Dr. King’s belief in compassion, inclusion, and the power of community service.
