At Carteret CC we offer two special transfer programs with East Carolina University – Pirate Promise and Partnership Teach. Take a look below and find out which one best fits your educational and career goals.
Prepare for your future: join the Pirate Nation with Pirate Promise. This transfer program is for students who are in their first year of coursework at Carteret CC to attend special events, receive advising assistance, and support before they apply to ECU.
Pirate Promise applicants must be or plan to be enrolled at Carteret CC as a full–time student (minimum 12 hours a semester). To retain eligibility, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at Carteret CC. The Pirate Promise program does not guarantee admission to a specific major or program – additional application materials may be required for more competitive majors.
