Carteret CC Celebrates Graduation of Inaugural Spring Nursing Cohort
Congratulations Graduates
Carteret Community College proudly announces the graduation of its first-ever Spring Nursing Cohort, which completed the Associate Degree Nursing program on Friday, October 4, 2024. Thirteen dedicated students began the intensive nursing program in January 2023 and have now successfully met all requirements, including an impressive 816 clinical hours.
Of the 13 graduates, 12 have already secured positions in the healthcare field, while the remaining graduate is thoughtfully exploring career options. This cohort represents a broad range of backgrounds, including veterans, military spouses, parents, and individuals transitioning to second careers.
“We are incredibly proud of this group,” said Dr. Tracy Mancini, college President. “These students benefitted from outstanding training, support, and encouragement from our excellent nursing faculty. Their perseverance and their dedication to the nursing profession are truly inspiring. Upon passings their NCLEX licensure exams, these graduates will enter the workforce prepared to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families in our community and beyond.”
Carteret CC’s Nursing program continues to attract students from various walks of life, drawn to the program’s comprehensive clinical experiences and hands-on training. The success of the Fall 2024 graduates speaks to the high-quality education and support provided by the College.
