
Exceptional Adult Education
Carteret CC’s Exceptional Adult Education program (formerly known as Adult Basic Education), is designed for individuals who need more assistance to develop fundamental skills in reading, writing, math and technology. Morning and afternoon classes are offered on campus.
- Build foundational skills in reading, writing, math and technology for further educational and employment opportunities. (Available to individuals with or without a high school diploma.)
- Classes are designed for the needs of the adult learner.
- Participate in extracurricular activities such as Special Olympics and off-campus field trips
