Campus Impacts

As the College leadership team monitors reports from the National Weather Service and Carteret County Emergency Management with regard to the timing and trajectory of now Tropical Storm Debby, we encourage you to plan ahead for possible storm-like weather and the interruptions it could cause.

The following news release from our partners at Duke Energy offers tips for safety and preparedness that may help you:  Duke Energy prepares for Tropical Storm Debby in the Carolinas; encourages customers to plan ahead | Duke Energy | News Center (duke-energy.com)

While this storm is expected during a break between summer and fall semesters, the College plans to be open for late registration August 6 – 12 during regular business hours.

Please note – In the event that Tropical Storm Debby will affect operating hours during late registration, Carteret Community College will communicate through Regroup (cell phone text messages and phone calls), email, and on the college website.

We look forward to seeing everyone on campus soon!  In the meantime, please stay safe, dry, and informed.
