As we move toward fall and open enrollment, the State Health Plan will be increasing its efforts to inform State Health Plan members regarding the Third Party Administrator (TPA) transition to Aetna effective January 1, 2025. If you did not receive the email below, HR recommends that you login at North Carolina State Health Plan (secure-enroll.com) and verify that both your email and mailing address are correct.
Don’t stress! There are no benefit changes, and the employee premium remains unchanged for the 6th year in a row! But you do need to be informed regarding the action you must take during Open Enrollment to ensure you are enrolled in the plan of your choice at the lowest possible premium and that you designate a Primary Care Provider (PCP) so that you benefit from lower copays for office visits.
Open Enrollment is September 30th through October 25th. HR will offer 2 presentations and a robust calendar of enrollment labs in October to assist you in your enrollment. More details regarding this will follow in September.
