Student Stories

This is What’s Possible

Real students. Real outcomes. Right here on the Crystal Coast.

I was working retail and feeling stuck. Two years later I’m a licensed nurse at Carteret Health Care. The financial aid covered almost everything — I couldn’t believe how affordable it was.

Jamie M.
Nursing Graduate

I used my GI Bill and finished my electrical tech degree in two years. The instructors actually worked in the trades — they taught us real skills, not just textbook material.

Darius L.
Electrical Systems Tech

I transferred to NC State after two years at Carteret CC and saved over $30,000. The transfer pathway was seamless and my credits came with me.
