Carteret CC To Hold 9/11 Commemoration

Carteret Community College invites the public to attend a brief commemoration in observance of September 11, 2001, on Thursday, September 8. This event is being held in advance during college business hours to give our college community an opportunity to participate. The program will start promptly at 8:45 a.m. on the front lawn of the Historic Camp Glenn (Foundation) Building.

American flags will be made available during the ceremony and throughout the day to plant along Celebration Square adjacent to the College’s 9/11 memorial. The sea of flags will remain in place over the weekend to honor those lost in the September 11th terrorist attacks.
