Food Pantry
The purpose of the Carteret Community College Food Pantry is to lessen the impact of food insecurity on Carteret CC students. By making food and related nonperishable items available, we strive to support student needs both in and outside the classroom.

Student Information
The Galley is available to all currently enrolled Carteret CC students.
Students have three (3) ways to access The Galley.
1. You may shop The Galley on your own during scheduled hours.
2. If The Galley’s operating times do not work for you, you may schedule a shopping appointment at your convenience using the Food Pantry Appointment Request Form.
3. Or you may complete a Request for Pantry Pick-Up to have items shopped on your behalf. Once the request has been filled, you will receive an email with pick-up instructions.

The amount of food a student receives will depend upon household size and availability of resources.
Yes, all currently enrolled Carteret CC students may access the food pantry regardless of other supports they may receive. Utilizing The Galley is confidential and not reported to any agencies outside of Carteret CC.
Support The Galley
Carteret CC accepts monetary and specific items as donations.
Monetary donations can be made through our Foundation. When completing the online form, simply select “other” under the donation amount and indicate “The Galley – Food Pantry” in the Support Designation field.
Material Donations
Material donations can be dropped off in the Bryant Student Center in Room 3114 on the 1st floor. Donation suggestions are listed below.
