Tuition Payment Plans – The easiest way to pay for college!

The Education Amendments of 1972 state that no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Title IX applies to all institutions that receive federal financial assistance, including K-12 schools and institutions of higher education.

The U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights enforces Title IX, including investigating and resolving complaints. Additionally, the OCR provides institutions with information and guidance in order to provide support in complying with the law.

Cohort Default Rate

  • Automatic payment from a checking or savings account (ACH)
  • Automatic Payment from credit or debit card
  • Regularly scheduled payments for Fall 2023 will process on the 15th of the month
  • Regularly scheduled payments for Spring 2024 will process on the 15th of the month
  • $30 enrollment fee per semester per agreement
  • $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment is returned

Fall 2023: August 15 – December 14, 2023

Fall payment plans available on July 20, 2023. Payment plans must be established upon registering to avoid being dropped from classes.

25% Down payment due at set up August 15
2nd Installment (25%) September 15
3rd Installment (25%) October 15
4th Installment (25%) November 15

Spring 2024

Spring 2024: January 4 – May 6, 2024

Spring payment plans available on October 5, 2023. Payment plans must be established upon registering to avoid being dropped from classes.

3rd Installment (25%) March 15
4th Installment (25%) April 15

Summer payment plans available on March 15, 2024. Payment plans must be establishedupon registering to avoid being dropped from classes.

Payment Plan Availability

Availability of the payment plan is determined by Carteret Community College. Please be aware the College may elect not to have the payment plan available during specific times and dates during registration.

Balance Adjustments

Please do not assume your balance will automatically adjust if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online.

Authorized Payers

If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must access or set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer. Students:  If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
