Women on the Water

Women on the Water: Skills, Confidence, & Independence for Every Boater.

Women on the Water is a hands-on workshop series designed to empower women to confidently operate, handle, and maintain their own boats—no partner required. Taught primarily by experienced female captains, these courses offer practical, real-world instruction in navigation, safety on the water, essential knots, docking techniques, and routine boat maintenance. With a supportive, no-pressure learning environment, participants build the skills—and the confidence—to take command at the helm, make informed decisions, and enjoy true independence on the water. Perfect for new boaters or anyone ready to strengthen their abilities and feel fully capable operating their vessel on their own.
