Discover the Carteret CC Ambassador Program

Leadership, Growth, & Community Connection
At Carteret Community College, student success goes beyond the classroom. Our Ambassador Program is a shining example of how students can grow as leaders, connect with their peers, and make a lasting impact on campus and in the community.
Our ambassadors are more than just representatives of the college—they’re advocates for student life, mentors to their peers, and champions of everything Carteret CC has to offer. Whether they’re helping new students navigate campus, assisting with events like Fall Fest or Kraken Connections, or collaborating with organizations like the Student Government Association (SGA), our ambassadors play a vital role in creating a supportive and engaging campus environment.
A Personal Perspective from Taylor Love
Hi Krakens! I am Taylor Love, one of your student ambassadors and a student here at Carteret CC. I have done the esthetics program, the criminal justice technology program/AS, and now I am working on my arts to transfer to UNCW. I love our community, and you can often find me eating a bagel from Sweet Beans in the Bryant Student Center!
My position as a student ambassador has been so rewarding. From working closely with SGA and MAPS to assist students, meeting fellow classmates, and growing as an individual, this role has truly been a highlight of my time here. My favorite classes so far have been Sociology of Death & Dying and Spanish! I absolutely love that I have the opportunity to spread the word about how awesome Carteret CC is!
What Makes the Ambassador Program Special?
The Ambassador Program is more than a leadership opportunity—it’s a chance for students to:
- Build valuable skills like public speaking, teamwork, and event coordination.
- Forge meaningful connections with faculty, staff, and fellow students.
- Serve as role models and mentors, inspiring others to embrace all that Carteret CC offers.
Ambassadors create a dynamic, inclusive, and vibrant campus culture through their work. They leave a legacy of service and leadership that inspires others to follow in their footsteps.
