NC Community College Transfer Tour 2026
Carteret Community College students will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from 15 colleges and universities during the NC Community College Transfer Tour on Thursday, October 22.
For students thinking about earning a bachelor’s degree after Carteret Community College, the next step may be closer than they think.
Carteret Community College will host the NC Community College Transfer Tour 2026 on Thursday, October 22, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, giving students the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from colleges and universities across North Carolina and beyond.
The event is designed to help students explore transfer options, learn more about the admissions process, and better understand what comes next after completing their education at Carteret.
Whether students already have a university in mind or are just beginning to consider their options, the Transfer Tour offers a convenient way to gather information from multiple schools in one place. Students can ask questions about academic programs, transfer requirements, scholarships, financial aid, campus life, and other important parts of the transfer process.
Colleges and universities currently scheduled to attend include:
Appalachian State University, Campbell University, Charleston Southern University, East Carolina University, Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, Gardner-Webb University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Wesleyan University, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, UNC Pembroke, UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina University, and William Peace University.
Having representatives from so many institutions on campus gives students a valuable opportunity to compare schools, discover programs they may not have considered, and begin building connections with the universities they may one day attend.
For some students, transferring is already part of the plan. For others, the event may be the first step toward seeing what is possible after Carteret.
Students are encouraged to come prepared with questions and take advantage of the opportunity to learn directly from university representatives. From understanding how credits transfer to exploring scholarship opportunities and academic pathways, one conversation could help shape a student’s next chapter.
The NC Community College Transfer Tour 2026 will take place on Thursday, October 22, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Carteret Community College.
Students interested in continuing their education are encouraged to attend, explore their options, and discover where their Carteret journey can take them next.
