Fall 2020 COVID-19 Planning
Many await the College’s announcement for fall semester plans. Although planning is ongoing, we do know that this fall Carteret Community College will offer a variety of instructional methods to fit the current times and to protect the safety of the learning environment for our students and faculty.
Traditional face-to-face curriculum classes will be offered in a socially distanced setting with the number of students set appropriately for each classroom to allow appropriate distance. Synchronous class sections will be offered so that students can log into their instructor’s class at the set time and day and join the “virtual” classroom. Internet classes will be offered so that students who require a flexible schedule may log in at any time to complete their coursework. Students, please contact your advisor or Student Services at 252-222-6060 to find the right fit for you.
Corporate and Community Education will also offer traditional face-to-face classes adhering to social distance and mask wearing recommendations. Synchronous class sections will be scheduled to allow students to log into their class at the set time and day and join the online classroom. Internet classes will be offered to allow students flexibility to attend classes as their schedules permit. Student, please contact the Corporate and Community Education office at 252-222-6200 for additional details and to find the training opportunity that is right for you.
