This is more than a win for our institution—it’s a win for every student who dreams of combining academic achievement with athletic excellence.”
“During the application review process, Carteret Community College checked all the boxes we look for in a member of the NJCAA. Their leadership team has been fully invested from the start of this process, which is a great indicator of success in collegiate athletics. We look forward to working along Dr. Mancini, Scott Lane, and the rest of the team at Carteret to help them build a successful NJCAA athletic department” stated Dr Brett Monaghan, Vice President for Championships, Membership and Sports Governance.
Scott Lane stated, “It’s an incredible honor to serve as Carteret Community College’s first Athletics Director and to see our College officially accepted as a member of the NJCAA. This milestone reflects our commitment to providing new opportunities for students while bringing our campus and community together in a shared sense of pride. I look forward to building a program that supports student success and creates a lasting tradition of excellence.”
“NJCAA Region 10 is extremely excited to welcome it’s 37th member, the Krakens of Carteret Community College.
