Test Preparation

Need to get ready for your high school equivalency test? Carteret Community College can help.

Placement testing, orientation and post-testing are at done on campus, but all other preparation can be done online. Online preparation provides flexible hours, uses free online materials and allows students to work at their own pace.

A successful online learner is one who:

Is self-motivated and comfortable using online courseware
Scores on a high school level on the TABE reading placement test
Attends a in-person orientation session, which includes registration paperwork, with an intake specialist
Completes an official test every 30 days

Sign up for an ABE or High School Equivalency Preparation enrollment session. For assistance with the form, go to the College & Career Readiness Office in Room 110 of the Wayne West Building.

April 8th and 9th 5:00pm – 9:00pm

May 5th and 6th 1:00pm – 5:00pm
