We know that when life gets tough, academics can suffer. That’s why Carteret CC has a number of resources that support our students so they can achieve success. Carteret CC services include a food pantry, child care assistance, emergency funds, and more.

Counseling services are available to support students by comprehensively addressing issues that may interfere with academic and personal responsibilities. We offer services to foster life balance, develop personal and academic growth, and help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Counseling services are available on campus and are free to students. Please note, that counselors do not provide clinical work/ treatment of disorders. However, counselors may provide community resources/contacts.

At Carteret CC, we’re making sure our students step into interviews, conferences, and business meetings with confidence. The Dress for Success Closet is a resource on campus designed to provide professional attire for both current and former students—free of charge. Whether you’re gearing up for an important job interview, a networking event, or a formal presentation, we’ve got you covered.

The closet offers a wide selection of clothing for all genders and in many sizes, ensuring that every student can find something that fits their professional needs. If we don’t have the right size or item available, we also have additional resources to ensure you’re fully prepared for the occasion.

The closet includes, but is not limited to:

  • Heels

Carteret CC offers a Student Food Pantry, “The Galley,” which is an affiliate site of the ENC Food Bank. Located on the second floor of the Bryant Student Center (Room 3220) students may pick-up free, ready-to-eat groceries during schedule hours or request to shop the Galley when it’s convenient to them.

Carteret CC’s Student Emergency Fund is there for life’s unexpected emergencies. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you are experience a hardship and find out how to apply.

Enrich your college experience by getting involved. Carteret CC offers student activities for every interest, from student government to social clubs and community volunteerism. Carteret CC’s Student Life provides opportunities to learn, engage, and grow.

Talk Campus is an App & web-based global mental health support network, kept safe by professionals, providing instant support for student mental health. It’s completely anonymous, a safe space, and available 24/7 to Carteret CC students.

Carteret County Area Transportation System (CCATS) is an accessible public transportation service for all residents and guests of Carteret County. Anyone can ride and they make stops on our campus.
