Operations & Facilities(O&F), IT, and Security have partnered with an external vendor to deploy a card reading system on exterior building doors on campus. This system is active for the following buildings:
Additional buildings may be added in the future.
This system allows authorized personnel to electronically lock and unlock these buildings based on the College’s operating hours, emergencies, weather related closings, and/or scheduled events.
We are excited about this implementation and feel that it offers Carteret Community College an increased level of security for our students, staff, and faculty.
