Campus Week of Giving

This year I am excited to receive professional development funding through the Carteret Community College Foundation’s support to attend the University of North Carolina System’s Behavioral Health Convening in the spring of 2025. The Convening will afford me the opportunity to learn about mental health challenges across NC campuses to understand trends and issues within mental health.

Additionally, I will get the opportunity to share strategies and ideas to promote increased education and access to mental health services for diverse populations of students and learn about interventions and programs being offered by NC colleges that focus on mental health prevention, resiliency education and behavioral health interventions. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and am excited to bring new ideas and best practices back to Carteret Community College to better support and serve our students.
