Free Student Access

The Student Government Association (SGA) is excited to announce a new partnership with the Morehead City Sports Center. This partnership will give Carteret CC students exclusive access to the Sports Center’s basketball court and pool—completely free of charge!

Through this initiative, currently enrolled students are granted one day a month to the basketball and  pickleball courts, and  an additional day to the indoor pool. It’s a great way to stay active, relieve stress, and connect with fellow students outside the classroom.

How It Works

On the designated dates, students can enjoy access to the following:

Basketball/Pickleball Court (12:15 PM – 3:30 PM)

· Thursday, February 20

· Thursday, March 20

· Thursday, April 10

· Thursday, May 8

Indoor Pool (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

· Monday, February 24

· Monday, March 17

· Monday, April 7

· Monday, May 5

What You Need to Participate

To take advantage of this opportunity, students must present either: A valid Carteret CC Student ID or A printed copy of their current Spring semester class schedule

This partnership is part of SGA’s ongoing efforts to enhance student life, promote wellness, and encourage students to engage in healthy activities. So grab your friends, head to the Morehead City Sports Center located at 701 N. 35th Street, and enjoy some time on the court or in the pool!

If you have questions or future suggestions for partnerships, contact the Student Activity Office in the Bryant Student Center, Room 106.
