Help Carteret CC Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management students go to France … by eating great food!
Each year, three to four students are selected to work with our Escoffier Chef friends in France for five weeks. When students return, they help plan and execute the Escoffier Chefs’ Dinners and teach current students techniques they learned while abroad.
Funding from the dinners pay for the students to participate in the French exchange program at no cost to them and remaining funds are used to support these three programs. Carteret CC is the only NC Community College to offer this unique opportunity.

Help culinary students earn their degree … by eating their food! Each lunch is the FINAL project for a student. Satisfying your hunger is the final step before the culinary student can graduate!
The students select a region of France to create the lunch menu for the day. The students set the menu, order the food, set up the prep list for students to follow to produce a delicious lunch for guests.
This is where you come in! They need you to come and try their food! For $25, the lunch includes all-you-can-eat food stations, a plated dessert, and beverage.
