Institutional effectiveness (IE) at Carteret Community College is a systematic, integrated, and ongoing process of planning and assessing institutional performance through regular: review of the college’s mission, goals, and outcomes; evaluation of programs and services; assessment of outcomes across all institutional units; and use of data and assessment results to inform decision-making.
The role of the Marketing & Public Information department is to promote and market the College both internally and externally to help increase enrollment, retention, engagement and giving. We strive to promote clear communication within the college, among students, faculty, and staff; to present the college to the public in a consistent and compelling way; and to advance the Carteret CC brand.
