Public Safety Training Facility

Carteret Community College’s Public Safety Training Facility at Laurel Road will provide for height training, shipboard firefighting and additional facilities maneuvering for students in the Crystal Coast Fire Academy and members of partner agencies including municipal and county fire departments, the NC Ferry Division, US Coast Guard, and maritime workforce. The facility offers a safe, controlled learning environment that simulates actual emergency response situations to prepare and offer continued training credits to students and professionals.
