Carteret CC Honors Veterans with Annual Veterans Day Breakfast Morehead City, NC (October 31, 2023) – Carteret Community College is proud to announce its annual Veterans Day Breakfast will take place on November 8, 2023, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Center on campus. Carteret CC's Annual Trunk-or-Treat Returns Morehead City, NC (October 10, 2023) - Carteret Community College is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved annual Trunk-or-Treat on October 26th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the McGee parking lot. Breaking the Stigma Awareness Walk Morehead City, NC (October 9, 2023) - On Saturday, October 21st, the Carteret CC Student Government Association (SGA) will host a "Breaking the Stigma" Awareness Walk from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bryant Student Center.  Attendees will have access to valuable resources and information concerning mental health, substance abuse, and the path to recovery, followed by an inspiring address from Carteret CC graduate, Abigail Wears before the walk. Voter Registration Drive Morehead City, N.C. (September 12, 2023) - Carteret Community College is proud once again to be a National Voter Registration Day partner and host a voter registration campaign Monday, September 18th through Thursday, September 21. 9/11 Commemoration Morehead City, N.C. (September 5, 2023) - Carteret Community College invites the public to attend a brief commemoration in observance of September 11, 2001, on Monday, September 11 on the front lawn of the Historic Camp Glenn (Foundation) Building. The program will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. with the presentation of colors by the Morehead City Police Department Honor Guard followed by the National Anthem, led by Jonathan Williams and America the Beautiful on bagpipes. American flags will be made available during the ceremony and throughout the day to plant along Celebration Square adjacent to the College’s 9/11 memorial. Carteret Links Health Education Fall Lecture Series Morehead City, N.C. (August 23, 2023) – This fall Carteret Community College continues the Carteret Links Health Education lecture series with the first installment taking place on September 21, which will focus on the importance of sleep for health.
